Enjoy the Holiday Season in North Lake Tahoe Like a Local

Welcome to the holiday season in North Lake Tahoe, where the festive spirit is alive with events and celebrations! Get ready to embrace local charm and winter magic with our inside scoop of unforgettable experiences...

On Small Business Saturday (November 30), dive into the "Love North Tahoe" campaign—shop, dine, and play while supporting local favorites from Incline Village to Tahoe City. Then, unleash your creativity at Handmade Holidays by crafting custom ornaments with Inside Incline and Karacotta Ceramics. RSVP for your ornament painting spot.

Throughout December, enjoy a range of events including the cozy Soule’s Holiday Bazaar at The Soule Domain (December 3), the North Tahoe PUD Tree Lighting at the North Tahoe Events Center in Kings Beach (December 6), and the festive Lake Tahoe School Winter Market. On December 7, let Candy Cane Lane guide you to a winter wonderland, complete with visits from Santa and Mrs. Lollie Claus at Candy Cane Village located on the campus of UNR Lake Tahoe. Learn more.

Later in the month, don’t miss Incline Village's Jingle & Mingle for unique holiday gifts and treats, Santa Ski Day at Mt. Rose(Dec 14), and a series of enchanting activities at the Hyatt Regency’s Festive Program (Dec 22–Jan 1). For Christmas Eve and Day, local churches will host inspiring services, while New Year’s Eve promises a grand send-off with torchlight parades, fireworks, and even disco tubing at Palisades Tahoe and Mt. Rose Ski Resort.

For more activities in Incline Village, visit IVCBA's Northern Lights Holiday Festival calendar of events.

Whether you're skating under the stars at Everline Resort in Olympic Valley or Northstar Village, sleigh riding at Sand Harbor State Park, or cozying up by a fire, North Lake Tahoe has all you need to make joyful holiday memories.
