The Inside Scoop: Celebrating Dad in North Lake Tahoe

It’s Dad’s turn to be in the spotlight and we’ve got the inside scoop on how to make his day special in North Lake Tahoe, without involving socks. Ok, maybe with socks – they have some cool ones The Potlatch and Mountain Hardware and Sports !

If Dad’s a grilling gourmand, visit Raley's or the newly opened Grocery Outlet for meat, chicken, fish, and veggies and let him do his thing. You know it makes him happy to show off. Up the game and grab some new BBQ tools next door at Mountain Hardware and Sports. Add one last stop at Incline Spirits and Cigars for beverages and a cigar!

If Dad’s not into showing off his grillin’ skills – take him out and make him feel like a King. Not only do we have fantastic food offerings in town, but many of our fine establishments are getting creative with their craft cocktails and beers, including Rosewood Tahoe, Sage Leaf, Alibi AleWorks, FUMO, or Big Water Grille. For the seriously serious foodie – make a reservation to experience Smoke Door Saryo Lake Tahoe. And of course, a Margarita and an El Presidente Taco from Lupita’s always bring a smile.

Bikes, Boards, and Boats – available for purchase or rental so Dad can spend the day on the water or trails. Check out these rental shops:

Before setting out for a perfect day of adventure, no matter how you and Dad spend it, be sure to stop by Drink Coffee Do Stuff or Happy Tiers Bakery for coffee and breakfast.

Happy Dad’s Day!
