Welcome to Central

Residents and visitors in the Central neighborhood will find themselves close to almost all of Incline Village’s amenities, including Country Club Center’s dining and the Village Center with retail, restaurants, and salons, plus the IV Post Office, and IVGID’s beaches, ball fields, churches, and schools.

Comprised of mostly apartments, condominiums, townhouses, and some single-family homes, the Central neighborhood also contains some of Incline Village’s commercial and retail areas. Full-time residents and vacation owners alike love this area for its location.

With the lack of new construction in the Central subdivision, property taxes are usually lower compared to the rest of Incline Village. Many complexes in Central Incline Village are older; however, most have been renovated with new roofs, siding, and landscaping, maintaining a fresh look without the high property taxes found with newer construction. The moderately priced Central neighborhood, with proximity to most of Incline Village’s amenities and recreation, makes for an excellent second home or short-term rental property, providing you with the highly desirable Incline Village zip code.

Insider Tip:

The Central Neighborhood is split to the north and south by HWY 28. Homes under HWY 28 are at a premium, given you don’t have to cross a highway to get to the lake.
