Shop Local: Gifts He'll Actually Use
Incline Spirits & Cigars
For the dad who appreciates the finer things, Incline Spirits & Cigars in the Country Club Center, is the essential stop. Their curated selection of craft spirits, fine wines, local and imported beers, and premium cigars turns a gift into an experience. Pick up a bottle of something special, pair it with a cigar, and let him enjoy the deck with a view. They also offer gift sets and tastings - ask in-store for what's new and seasonal. Think beyond the bottle: a curated spirits-and-cigar bundle makes a genuinely memorable gift.
Also tucked into Christmas Tree Village (868 Tahoe Blvd, Ste 9), Tahoe Gifting Co. is the local answer to the eternal question of what to actually get Dad. This woman- and veteran-owned shop partners with over 80 local artisans and small businesses across the Tahoe region to curate gifts that feel genuinely personal - not like something you grabbed at an airport. Their Build Your Own Gift Box feature is especially well-suited for Father's Day: load it up with local spirits, small-batch goods, and Tahoe-made finds, and it becomes something he'll actually remember.
Take Him to Dinner (or Brunch)
Incline Village has no shortage of spots worthy of a Father's Day reservation. Here's a look at what's worth your time right now:
Azzara's Italian Restaurant - A true Incline Village institution. Family-owned since 1978, Azzara's serves authentic Italian from recipes that go back generations - think house-made lobster ravioli, veal osso buco, and shrimp scampi in a warm, unpretentious setting. It's the kind of place that feels like a reward after a long ski day or a long week. Open Tuesday–Saturday from 5pm. Reservations recommended.
Sage Leaf - The most chef-driven spot in the village. Owners Shane and Lara both come from Napa Valley's fine dining world, and it shows - modern American cuisine built around seasonal ingredients, an exceptional wine list, and craft cocktails that hold their own. Brunch is worth the trip as much as dinner. Happy hour runs 5–6pm nightly, and they host live music every Wednesday. Open 7 days.
Osteria Sierra at the Hyatt Regency Lake Tahoe - Modern Northern Italian inside the Hyatt, done properly. House-made pastas, fresh seafood, expertly prepared steaks, and ingredients sourced through the Tahoe Food Hub from local organic producers whenever possible. The setting - mountain views, resort-level service - makes it an easy choice for a celebratory dinner. Dinner nightly from 5:30pm; weekend lunch available Friday–Sunday.
Rosewood Tahoe & the newly opened Rosewood Pizzeria - A beloved local spot with a fresh new addition. Rosewood Tahoe has built a loyal following for its community-focused vibe, thoughtful cocktail and beer program, and Italian-inspired menu rooted in Nonna's recipes. The new Rosewood Pizzeria brings that same warmth to wood-fired pies - casual, neighborhood, and the kind of place you end up staying longer than planned. Open most evenings; closed Tuesdays.
Paxton's Settlement - The exciting new arrival in the old Austin's space, directly across from the Hyatt. Co-founded by Executive Chef Cole Dunbar and Beverage Director Jordan Armstrong, Paxton's is a chef-driven restaurant built on restraint and seasonal precision - Northern California technique, regional producers, and a bar program to match. Still new enough to feel like a discovery, already good enough to become a regular stop.
Crosby's Kitchen & Cocktails - Incline's most laid-back patio dining, tucked into Christmas Tree Village right alongside High Sierra Gardens. The creekside backyard features native landscaping from their neighbors next door, making it one of the most pleasant outdoor dining spots in the village. Great for a casual Father's Day lunch - and once you're done, walk next door to High Sierra Gardens and let Dad pick out something for the yard. Open daily; dog-friendly patio so he can bring his best friend.
Some dads don't want things. They want to do things. Incline Village delivers on that better than anywhere.
On the Water
· Boating - Whether he has his own boat or wants to rent one, a day on Lake Tahoe is as good as it gets. Flat water, deep blue, and no agenda.
· Kayaking & Paddleboarding - Get out on the water at a slower pace. Ideal for a morning paddle before the boats come out.
· Clear Kayak Tahoe - One of the most unique experiences on the lake. Transparent kayaks that let you see straight down into the crystalline water. A genuinely unforgettable few hours, especially with kids in tow. Book with Clearly Tahoe.
· Tahoe Multi Sport - Rentals and guided adventures for paddleboards, kayaks, and more. Easy to book, well-equipped, and staffed by people who know this lake.
O On the Trails
· Hiking - The Tahoe Rim Trail, Flume Trail, and dozens of other routes offer everything from a casual morning stroll to a full-day summit. Crystal Bay and the Incline Lake area are perennial favorites.
· Mountain Biking - The Flume Trail is bucket-list material for any cyclist. If Dad doesn't have a bike here, rent one and make a day of it.
· Vista Trail Bikes - Local rental shop for top-quality ebikes, perfectly suited for a ride along the stunning East Shore Trail.
O On the Courts and Course
G Sunday's weather is lining up to be hot and sunny. Get Dad out on the IVGID Pickleball, Tennis Courts, and two Golf Courses early, and then spend the rest of the day spoiling him.
A Note from the Casa Tua Team
We're lucky to live somewhere that makes days like this easy. The hardest part of celebrating a father in Incline Village isn't finding something to do - it’s choosing from too many great options. However you spend this Father's Day, we hope it involves good food, cold water, warm weather, and the kind of unhurried afternoon that only happens at 6,200 feet above sea level in Incline Village. From all of us at Inside Incline and Casa Tua - Happy Father's Day.
Looking to make every weekend feel like this? Let's talk about what it means to live here full-time.
